Cold Brew Lemonade
With a roastery and original coffee shop in Artesia, Solid Coffee has expanded to a small-but-mighty, slightly hidden coffee stand located in McFadden Public Market. Their menu is short but sweet, housing your typical coffee beverages, as well as some unique flavors. Their signature drink is something off the menu: Cold Brew Lemonade. Their refreshing cold brew is infused with a sweet house-made lemonade syrup that helps highlight the chocolate notes of the coffee. This is a good one to order if you’re looking for something strong, sweet, and a little tangy.
Insider’s Tip: If you’re looking for something warm, try their Dark Chocolate Mocha ($5). A standard double shot latte mixed with rich chocolate ganache that is made in house makes this the perfect grown-up, caffeinated hot chocolate.

MAZ Café Con Leche $4.75
MAZ’s signature drink is, of course, the Maz. It’s short for mazapán, the delicious peanut candy they blend into their latte. Sweetened with a little bit of hazelnut and chocolate syrups, this latte has a well-balanced blend of nutty and chocolatey flavors. You’ll even get bits of mazapán as you drink for a sweet surprise.
Insider’s Tip: This is the only coffee shop in DTSA dedicated to Latin-American-inspired drinks like mazapán, Abuelita, and horchata lattes and frappes.

It’s a sweet, double-shot latté crafted with house-made syrups that highlight strong floral flavors. They top off the latté with some dried rosebud petals.

Hopper & Burr $4.50
Crafted by combining sparkling water and a homemade syrup, Hopper & Burr’s tonic water has bitter characteristics with hints of botanicals and a mixture of citruses. The espresso shot is poured over the tonic water which creates this cool effect look shown in the picture. Stir with caution as the tonic water causes the espresso to foam up!
Insider’s Tip: This drink is part of their ‘secret menu’ and is here to stay! Hopper & Burr does have other neat specialty drinks (4) that change every month. One typically showcases their homemade almond milk which they are also known for.
